Delaware Chester Community School (DCCS) is a non-profit educational institution located in the Garnet Valley School District, in the southwestern suburbs of Philadelphia. Founded in the summer of 2020, DCCS is dedicated to offering high-quality, affordable enrichment education in Chinese language, STEM, arts, and sports to K-12 students beyond regular school hours. Our mission is to cultivate an appreciation for Chinese culture and heritage while fostering mutual understanding and respect among diverse ethnic groups. Through a variety of educational programs and cultural events, we strive to build a vibrant, inclusive community that celebrates cultural diversity and promotes lifelong learning.

Learning for Life.
We offer a wide range of courses and activities for both children and parents. For K-12 students, we provide academic subject classes such as English and Math, and extend our curriculum to include foreign languages, coding, public speaking, music, dance, art, and sports. For parents, we offer enriching classes and activities, including arts and sports programs. Additionally, we have sports clubs where parents can participate at a very low cost, fostering community engagement and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Our dedicated team of educators includes teachers with master's and Ph.D. degrees, as well as professors from universities, and renowned local argist that teaches art classes. We also have high school students who primarily teach math classes to younger students or lead clubs such as chess and debate. We are meticulous in selecting our teachers, striving to provide an environment that offers quality education to students and a platform for high schoolers to volunteer and contribute to the community by teaching children. With typically 5-10 and a maximum of 12 students per class, our teachers can give great attention to each and every student.

- 1. 学生需按时到校上课，不随意迟到早退。如因故迟到、早退或缺席，需提前通知老师。
Be punctual and attend all classes. Notify the teacher in advance if late, leaving early, or absent.
- 2. 按时完成作业，积极参与课堂活动和学校组织的考试或测验。不允许考试作弊或抄袭他人作业。
Submit homework on time, actively participate in class, and take tests honestly. Cheating or copying is prohibited.
- 3. 尊重老师、同学及学校工作人员。课堂提问或发言时需举手，不得打架、骂人或有任何不文明行为。
Respect teachers, classmates, and staff. Raise your hand to speak. No fighting, offensive language, or uncivil behavior.
- 4. 学生须坐在指定座位，上课期间不得随意讲话、走动或做影响他人学习的事情。未经老师允许，不得离开教室或提前下课。
Stay in assigned seats and avoid disruptions. Do not leave class early without permission.
- 5. 不在走廊或教室内追跑打闹，不做危险动作。课间不得大声喧哗。
No running, dangerous activities, or loud noise in hallways or classrooms.
- 6. 不随意丢弃垃圾，爱护学校设施和教室环境。不得乱涂乱写或损坏学校设施。
Dispose of trash properly and avoid damaging or defacing school property.
- 7. 教室内不得吃任何食品或除水之外的其它饮料。
Only water is allowed in classrooms.
- 8. 未经允许，不得动用学校和教室内的物品。如有损坏，需按价赔偿。
Use school items only with permission. Pay for any damages caused.
